Indicators / headlights

Hi All,

Is it possible to change the amount of times that the indicator flashes when you nudge the indicator stalk for the ES?

Sorry if this has already been answered. From what i have read, it seems to only be available if you have the MMCS.

It's an awesome feature but for me, it feels like it needs to flash maybe 4 times instead of 3.

BTW, has anyone seen any aftermarket headlights that can be installed. Projector style etc?? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone!!!

Dunno about the indecaters,

But with the headlights, CinCityDesigns is one of the places that is making headlights for the lancers, but they are basicly you send them your headlights, they retro fit them with HID projectors, demon eyes angel eyes etc and they charge you according to what you want.

They are going to be making the Lancer Concept headlights which are f'ing sweet!! But i dunno when they will be out..Check out their website...

Thanks mate, looking forward to the concept headlights. Also really like the concept tail lights too.

I'm a little worried about the LED indicators in the headlights though...

I think the indicator will probably flash a lot faster than normal seeing that the leds would draw less power.

Anyone correct me if i'm wrong.

Hahaha maybe everyone should email them to get their butts into gear!!

Edit: About the LED indecators, im sure they would include some sort of resister to dum down the voltage so the car doesnt throw a CEL and the cruise control wont work.

They had the same issue with the LED tail lights. The ECU thought the rear bulbs in the tail lights had gone, and for some abnormal reason the car throws a Check Engine Light and the cruise control wont work. They figured it out to be that because the LED tail lights draw such little current, it fooled the ECU into thinking the bulbs had blew. Simple fix it with a resister of some sort.

Check out the LED tail lights thread in the group buy section, has all the details on it...

When I had LED indicators they flashed wickedly fast.

I THIIIINK it can be changed in MMCS settings, perhaps even in the dash LCD? SIR-VRX would know if it's possible :P

Thanks Graham, i dont have the MMCS so ill flick through the in-dash LCD and see how it goes. I just dont remember an option in there. Unless its in the setting menu?... I'll give it a go tomorrow when i get to work.

About the LED indicators in these concept headlights, hopefully they do include some sort of 'thing' to ensure that the indicators flash at the normal speed. I included that question in my email that i sent about 10 mins ago.

I highly doubt that the Indicator flashes can be adjusted (with any ease)..... SIR-VRX will be the oracle for this though

Also - from that new website of Cincity's... I think you'll need to supply projector style headlights to begin with.

i can be adjusted threw a program i believe to edit the ecu setting on a computer. there was a thread on it here somewhere about all the unknown functions

hmm that sounds risky...? Dont really know if i want to play around with it if its not supposed to be adjusted.

its there to be set but its more of a dealer set stuff. but it can be edited with no real risk to the car. i believe, adrian(SIR-VRX) knows more on it.

Ah right. Yeah i will have to have a chat to SIR-VRX. Everyone seems to recommending him.
