Ask yourself the question first; do you want it to integrate digitally into the indicator stalk? If yes, then you must buy from Mitsubishi. All dealers will charge around $500 for the kit, installed.
The kits from eBay utilise a button, which would live next to your ASC button to the right and below the indicator stalk. If you can live with that, then you can get an eBay kit for around $140 delivered. The wiring up of the kit can be done yourself, if you're skilled at these types of things, or by an automotive electrician. This would only be around $75, as its an hour's labour.
So, if you want OEM stock = $500
Or, if you want OEM-style = $220-ish
Your choice!

BTW, if you buy an OEM kit from our club buyer, Ofey, then you can still do the install yourself, but you must have the computer flashed to recognise the install... I am not sure if your local dealer would charge for that, they shouldn't as its only a matter of minutes to do that and should be goodwill by them to facillitate....
Good luck again!
Good luck again!
Got a set for $139 with free postage.
It came with instuctions for fitting them to the steering column but the harness is for a switch on the dash.
Anyone have an idea where I can run the cable and plug through the firewall?
Everything else I have pretty much nutted out.
Cheers, Luke

put it through one of the many gromets there, i belive there is one near the drivers side wheel, or the main harness one in the middle, but its hard to get to, or drill your own and incert a Fire retartent gromet.
Hooked them all up last night.
Spliced into the power cable just behind the drivers side park light.
NO GOOD! The relay pulsed, buzzed and had the park lights flashing when I turned on the fog lights.
Then I tried splicing into the power cable just behind the dirvers side headlight.
They came on and off as suposed to but with I tested the alarm after you switch the car off and leave the lights on I blew a 10 amp head light fuse???
I know I can hook up power direct to the battery but idealy I want some sort of saftey net alarm if I was to leave the fog lights on with the car off.
Any help!!!!

Here you go.
The feed from the headlight/parkers gets switched inside the cabin, then returns out to the coil side of the relay, then out of the other side of the coil to ground. So when the headlights are on, and the switch is switched on, the coil energises pulling in the contact.
The main power feed comes from the battery to the contact side of the relay (via fuse) then from the other side of the contacts to the fog lights. The other side of the fog lights gets grounded.
So you have your failsafe, and you aren't drawing too much power over your parker light circuit (like you were before). Bingo.

Found the problem.
The relay had 2 power wires going into one pin.
One from the battery and out into the switch which is why the light on the switch would stay on.
All I had to do was cut the wire that went to the switch and splice it into the drivers side headlight power wire just behind the plug.
All problems solved. It is exactly the same as the pic you provided.
Cheers mate. Just that it looks a bit different in diagram form
