I'm a little bit broke at the moment so I'm trying to cut costs temporarily
Until I have the money to get the headlights I want I was thinking of just buying some LED strips from Autobarn as they have some that are only $16 per 1m.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this instead of replacing the whole headlight and if you have any advice about whether it's worth it or not??
These are the ones

I have put LED strips under my headlights but i got mine from ebay for roughly $10 or something i cant remember exactly. Anyways the ones that you have there will probably not work as you need to get side emitting LED lights as otherwise they will just shine down into your front bar which wont do much and probably not look to great. if you are interested i will find the link to an ebay listing for the kind of thing you are after and i will upload a picture of how it could look.
Cheers,
Mark.

Awesome, I'll have a look when I can thanks guys
I'm just worried about not being able to easily hook them up, but one of my mums friends is an auto electrician so I guess no matter what I get he'll be able to figure out a way to wire them!
Do you have headlight protectors on over your lights, Mark?

I did this with lights from oznium. It was easy to splice into the parkers and run down to where I mounted them, which was just above the fog lights. However they never stuck properly and some of the LEDs died after only a couple of month. So I took them out.
If you want proper DRLs you're better off going for whole new headlights in my opinion.

Hi there! Thanks Damir!
Yes I have these on my car and love them, they are fairly bright. Should be pics on my build thread. I also hooked them up so they tint off when my head lights turn on
