I can't say much about those headlights, other than I heard from some people that the LEDs on that stip break.. and if they do.. not easy to replace them.

in regards to HID... 4300k is the slight yellowish colour light you see on most cars with projectors. Those that look really white are 6000k

6000k may look brighter, but its actually not when compared to 4300k. Just depends what you want.

If cool looks, then 6000k
if more light output, then 4300k

And don't bother with anything over 6000k... will look blue / purpelish and you don't get much light output at all... and more of a cop magnet..

Pretty sure mine are 6000. Can see photos of it in my gallery. And in terms looks .. it comes out the beautiful blue. In terms of providing light. They are stronger than the stock highbeams

Im mostly want the projector for better vision at night. Maybe a little in looks too. But 80% in for vision.

The one the link is just to show what style im looking at getting. Dont think i eill get that one in the link as in the discription it says its a cheaper D1 version and dont offer full warranty. So im not to keen on that one. But there id many more on ebay.

If anyine has idea of other type of projector plz let me know, As im just looking around for a good set and good price that i can afford.

these are what i have look at.

Yer i looked at his on the kiama cruise last month. Thats what has got me so addictive to this style of Projectors.

does anyone know the price of sypders one. i think i reed that there avg $800 in the forum above. Thats if i reed it correctly.

Chopa told me on the kiama cruise to shop around before buying as he got riped off. So im really taking that in. But its hard to know a dodge set. and a good deal and product set.

Theyre not the brightest at night so I'm gonna upgrade the bulbs soon. Other than that they're perfect

Just remember if you're after 'legal' none of these will be legal to use with HID bulbs. These are all halogen projectors even the ones that say HID or come with HID bulbs. The projetor lenses are different between halogen and HID projectors. Also to comply with ADR standards which they need to do to be legal you will need to fit headlight washers. I only say all of this because you said in the original post that you were after 'legal'.

They also need to have a leveling switch either fully auto or manual adjustment from your cabin.

But lets be honest, the general population of regular drivers who have HID's how many times would they wash their lights? (the switch is usually different to the main stork)
my understanding is that along as you have operational washers and fluid in the reservoir your defect free.
And i can say that allot of people do not have properly aligned headlights either...
Some people ride their high-beams everywhere

The most obvious thing is having HID's in halogen reflectors. this will cause light to be scattered in every direction and can be noticed quite easily to a trained eye.

It's all a matter of current law enforcement priorities which may change in the future. currently in SA you will get defected for a blown bulb. police seem to be actively targeting this for the moment from what Ive seen

That's bull. I know the Evo X MRs I've seen (MY08) don't have levelling switches inside the cabin. They need to be adjusted on the headlight itself...
