What bulbs for my halos ?

Hey

So Mars sent me 6500K bulbs instead of 5800K bulbs. I'm going to SCA tonight and getting some other ones (and getting a refund from Mars). I love the slight blue tinge of the lights now...but light output isn't great.

What bulbs should I get ? I want at least a whitish colour (so no yellow!)....and something with good light output.

Thanks
And I realise this may be in other threads...but I don't want to go trolling through all of them to find an answer...sorry.

Just got this email. *SIGHS*

Thanks verymuch for contactus again My nameis Rui Wang, and I am the owner of Mars Performance My staffhas told me this matter today So I think better to send you a Email bymyself to get this clear. 1, thebulbs we have sent you are5800K bulbs, I know the boxsays 6500K,butit just a packing, there isno halogen bulbs in the word can offer you morethan 6000K atall. No such techknowledges. 2, You really don't have to purchase new bulbs, becuase your stock bulbs in your old factoryhead lights are same model as our head lights, you can still usethem if you think theyare brighter. 3, Also, the reason for you to think bulbs are not brighter enoug, maybe because you didn'tballancing the head lights level after installation

Phillips bulbs are popular. The crystal vision 4300k that many members and i have are the whitest legal bulbs you can get i think (from the chart they had). Only autobarn sells them, but you can get them form ebay for around $55 if i recall correctly.

Mine are 4535 I think .something like that. They're pretty average. Since I can't name the member who told me this, but "The Whiter, the brighter."

Also, PM mickyoz :). He'll suggest something good for you

hahahaha... that's funny.

Belle. If you want something reliable.. get the Philips bulbs. I normally used the CrystalVision ones which are illegal for road use, but cops have NEVER stopped me cause of them and they looked over my car dozens of times.

Otherwise, get HIDs. You said you wanted them :) Morimoto is a good brand made in japan and quite cheap. I think you can get a complete set of bulbs and ballasts for under $300

300? I think I can get them cheaper than that. I don't need to see every little rock on the ground. Something that is good (and safe) will do.

I said you can get them below $300.... could be $200ish.. I can't remember. But I would prefer those from any other brand that made in china (see Autobarn crap / ebay crap)

Autobahn are expensive though, aren't they? Lol I wanna try the current lights out a bit longer...I'm in love with the colour....they kind of have an aqua-ish output. But all in all it comes down to my safety as well
