so a while ago i swapped out the stock 'yellow' rear license plate lights for blue led ones...
similar too...
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Blue-10-X-T1 ... 2a1f0bda65
work well for a time, but just tonight i realised they flicker on and off randomly, when the car is switched to either accessories, on, or the car is running, headlights on/off etc etc..
doesnt seem to be a connection issue, as they did fit properly, and when i wiggled the housing they sit in and the wires going into it, it made no difference and the lights just flickered any way they wanted..
dodgy lights? connection problem? something else?
anyone else experienced this problem?
cheers. jacob.

I bought aftermarket LEDS (white ones) and they hardly lasted 3 months before they blew....so i order 20 from hong kong...watch out with blue ones because you might get a fine for having them blue (police colours)
Red, it goes faster. Exhaust Vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOCZgiDJtoM

Remove the lights and bend those metal prongs on the ends so they form a "hump" shape. This should result in a tighter snug fit in the bulb housing, ensuring a better electrical contact.
Edit
Also sand/scrape the metal prongs as they might not be conductive. If they continue to flicker, change bulbs.

there so dam cheap buy new ones lol.
nah, it could be the wire thats connected to those prongs could be loose, thats what was wrong with mine when they came, i bent them out alittle to make sure it sits snug then it didnt work and then took apart then found the fire wasnt on properly so my mate re soldered a new wire on then it worked fine.

Do these are legal? :O sorry to go off topic a little, I want to change mine, but was a little unsure as to whether or not it's an offence to change the colour in them >_<

Any coloured lights on the car are illegal (obviously not the brake and indicators). Doesnt matter if they are police colours or not. The rear plate lights MUST be a form of white light. Doesnt matter if it is blue, red, green, pink... You will get done.
