Is 2008 Lancer VR headlights same as 2010-2012 Lancer?

51W HB4 globe will do the trick for all of them (standard low beam headlight) - Narva and Philips pretty popular options

I want to buy this ( http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/120938858887 ... 4845wt_908) but the ad said 2010-on, so not sure if it will fit 08 Lancer.

I have these on my '10 lancer and they are a direct replacement. Perfect fitment. You will need different globes though from the stock HB4 to H7 for low beams. High beams are included and parkers are the led strips and halos

That's what I thought. Just want to make sure before I buy it, so it dosen't come with low beams lights?

It does not come with low beam bulbs. Just buy some H7 bulbs are your good to go. I installed HIDs into mine. Decent H7 halogen bulbs could cost around $50 im guessing. I paid $99 from Autoplatomium and got a complete HID kit shipped to my house

Thanks... Michael.

I asked the seller from eBay twice about the fitment . They still say No. It won't fit my car... That holding me back.....

I took out the aftermarket bulbs off my 2009 Platinum and putting them on my current car without issues. And AFAIK, Mitsu has not designed different shape headlights for newer Lancers.

Ask the seller to explain why it would only fit 2010+ models and not older ones.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have a question about headlights also that may help answer why different headlight options exist.

My VRX has HID headlights as standard (NZ spec), as a factory feature these headlights have Adaptive Front Lighting or AFS (lights that come on when you turn a corner - see YouTube videos for reference) – so the inside lights are angled towards the outside of the car to make this work.

My question is, are there any aftermarket headlights that fit (and work with) the factory HID and AFS set-up?

I think the the factory who make this headlights mention it 2010-ON, so the seller have no idea what's different between 2007-2012 Lancer. They just follow what factory said.

Depending on what type bulb is in the factory HID cause it only fits H7 and I highly doubt it comes with the AFS set up as well.
