ClubCJ - The CJ Lancer Club

So on my 2010 ES, when I unlock the car, the indicators flash and the interior lights come on. On my sisters 2011 SX-R, when she unlocks her car all that happens but also the lights turn on too, for a small duration.

My question is does anyone know how to do this for my ES, I thought it would be a small fuse or something simple?

Different year models do different things as far as the lights go when you unlock your car. Like my MY09 RA flashes the indicators and interior lights come on when I unlock the doors.

I don't think there is any way to change what the lights do as it is controlled through the ECU.

Get A Relay and wire it up to your centre dome light on the timing side. you notice when you unlock your car your interiar light comes on so will the headlights and when you lock it the interiar light turns off then the headlights will turn off to. im going to hook my headlights to the interiar lights on my 08 es. Let you know How this works out. I just thought of this way in my mind so i hope it works as good as i think it will.

I havnt done it yet hoping to do it next week. I'll take picture of how to do it. Just hope the head light are turned on by switching positive. Not earth or it won't work
