Any one here bought and used the Philips Xenon HB4 conversion kit?

Where can i find it in Melbourne and what is the recommended retail price?

Thanks, have a nice day. :)

Not sure if you can buy it in actual proper shops in Aus as its illegal to retrofit a HID kit to our lancers (unless you go OEM). Ebay is probably your best bet

you can buy it from autobarn - i've got these in my ra and has made a huge difference and well worth it :) in our cars you'll have to get a separate low and high beam set up, i only went with the lo beam

Burson Auto Parts is also a stockist of Philips. Give them a go. No doubt both Autobarn and Burson is more expensive than EBay though. Not sure about the RRP, sorry.

I was quote by Autobarn with $400 for a HB4 Phillips HID kit and i was i another place and i was quoted $450 for the same kit!
I end up to grab a kit from eBay for $120 express deliver from Melbourne!
Is not Phillips but does the work v good. I'm looking foward to get a kit for the high beam as well ;)

Just be careful with the high beams - because there is a slight warm up time with HIDs, you can't get the instant on (or flash) with them. If you drive alot of city it probably doesn't make much of a difference but if you drive country there are times when having an instant on high beam is safer.

I have the Factory OEM HID's in my Aspire .... They come ON almost instantly ... the time lag is .5 sec at most.

The Good Quality Philips are the same .... that's why you pay for Quality.

Sam .....

Sam, I was talking about the retrofit kits. not to mention they flicker as well. oem hids do warm up much quicker though.
