its mostly commodores and falcons that bug me with fog lights on, because they are too big and point too high,

HIDS and DRLs are the worst. even when the car has preper DLR p!55 me off, let alone stupid aftermarket retro fitted ones

Even them really. I can see the difference in how the light is diffused in the housing compared to the headlight, however it isnt so bad that I complain about it and think everyone who does it is a wanker about it.

Maybe its just me, me being young I guess things like this dont piss me off as easily as you older guys :P

Alvaro, please consider the repercussions on what you are doing. Let's say you got into and accident and even though you weren't at fault (the other guy could claim he was blinded by your lights), you could be liable because your retrofitted HID's are illegal, driving with foglights even when it's clear (also illegal) and the DRL's. Your car would light up like a white christmas tree at night. So, your insurance claim would get rejected, you will be liable for repairs to the other car. And if anyone gets injured, there could charges laid as well.

There is only one way to fit HID's and that is OEM with auto leveling and washers - expensive path to take.

Just wire them all together... Its not rocket science... Theres plenty of threads on how to do similar things already if you really need help...

I'm with tadz, foglights don't bother me. DRL's especially don't

That said, I never drive with my foglights and DRL's on at the same time. It would be distracting, and look ridiculous, and provide no benefit, unless 'getting attention at all costs, even for being a massive douche' is a benefit. :?
Having 4 points of (non-blinding) light on your bumper can help people judge your speed and direction more easily at night. Having more than that, or clusters of different lights together, is just a cry for attention...

HID's on the other hand... I used to not be bothered by them but now theres even some cars with OEM HID's that are too glarey. The 300C as a big example.
This is partly because my windows are always slightly oily now, and glarey lights get magnified to the point where I actually can barely see out my windscreen. Not because my eyes hurt, but because its just so lit up it becomes partly opaque.
Unless I feel like thoroughly cleaning the inside of my windows every day after I do a shift at work, this will continue to be a problem for me.
Gotta consider other people...

Also, enjoy the first time you get pulled over, even for a random breath test, and can't turn off all the bling on the front of your car, the cops will love that
