Sorry if anyone has covered this but....
Im looking to tint my tail lights the LED tail lights look really good but a few people around the blue mountains have them so was looking to go a bit different and just tint them with either a spry or a film.
Have looked up spray and think that is the way to go as you can be as dark or light as you want per coat. (dont want to dark i have a effect grey lancer so looking to blend them in more like the smoked LED's)
just windering if any one has done it and how hard etc it is.
Thanks
Ed

I've sprayed my signal indicators and the high stop lamp using Nightshades. Easily done as smithsy pointed out. And most importantly put in a dry warm place to set. Doing it in cold weather will spoil it.
Also my suggestion is to do nice thin coats. Spray, set and see. You'd be amaze how dark 4 coats will become. Just do them one coat at a time. If you do less coats, you will get a grey-ish finish.

Very unlikely anyone will want the Red tail lamps except with those who have Red cars.
Most people with red tail lamps either buy the LED ones or clear ones.
I constantly offer old folks I see driving new VRs or ESs A$100 to switch to my Red ones and none of them take up my offer... .

Edward I came across this site called " HEADLIGHT ARMOR " They have a Tinted Material with a adhesive backing that you apply to your lights , I Think you can do your taillights with this .... If you Google the site you may read up on the product ,
I don't know if it is any good but I Thought this might help . I Would of put the link up for you but Iam not sure how to do that yet
