Engine Start Fail

I start the engine, it starts for like a second before it starts to drop revs and engine dies completely. This occurred just a few times, I realize it happens when I start the engine before the second beep is heard when starting the car.

I read other posts stating that it maybe the starter motor or battery but I sent it to RAC a month back before getting the car and everything was all good. Strange but are there other reasons for the failure? Should I take any precautions to prevent any damage from happening to the mechanicals? Could it be the spark plugs?

erm, no fixed time really, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. If it does happen, if I try again, its usually ok.

That happens to me sometimes too neo, but only if I get in and try and start it straight away which is normally by accident. I usually let everything beep and then start it, no dramas.

Mine does it sometimes as well, usually first thing in the morning.
