if you are going to spend 700 bucks on it then why not just go and buy a good Kenwood Pioneer or Alpine system. You can pick up some good ones for around the same price.

I picked up my Kenwood DDX4031BT for 450 bucks. Mind you it doesn't have GPS which isn't needed for Darwin haha. But it has the capability for it and it'll be about 200 bucks more and I could get it.

Just my opinion though.

Other than that seems like a pretty sweet unit and a good deal

Id stay away from those units. No decent power output, touch screen would be absolutely terrible and laggy.

As Josh said, your better off getting a branded system. All your really missing out on is GPS but most people use their phones nowadays and you have full ipod/iphone integration with a lot of the new units.

This is the unit i have

You'll also find that those cheaper ones with GPS will often get them selves lost or get interfearance. For losing GPS, you get full ipod connectivity, mad touch screen and brand name.

Just gotta get a fascia which is like $30 + a wiring harness $10

I recommend going into JB, I scored 150 bucks off my unit because it was the last one before they got the newer model in. Which was actually no different at all

i have a previous unit made by the same company, after a while the gps will shit itself, nothing you can do, after 2 years the steering buttons dont respond well anymore, and forget the radio even if it says it will work in aus it most likely wont, also after a while cd's barely read but dvd's work flawlessly, ill tak photos of the one i have at some point, the sound reproduction aint to bad my car does sound better than my mates $5k CRAP-pine (alpine) setup and my setup cost me about $1k total, its not the RMS that counts or the overpriced label that comes with the speakers amps etc.
