MY11 Dash cluster conversion

After much confusion, I've cleared up a few things.

Here are 2 part numbers which are guaranteed to work:

MY12 Aspire: 8100B801
MY12 VRX: 8100C051

The Aspire one is quoted at ~A$888 while the VRX one is being quoted at ~A$855.

The cluster part number from the ASX i received is the 8100B801 fyi.

Irving, is there any difference between the Aspire and VRX cluster?

There might be some features associated with the HIDs and active turning lights integrated into the dash which differs from the VRX dash.

No difference as I know it. Perhaps just the way the numbers and dashes are designed.

Got mine back from the Odo reset, so mine now has the correct reading for my car, very happy with the look of the dash now, even my wife likes the colour over the red, one of the best mods so far.

I suspect Anthony will come back in abit to tell us what part he got but based on the PMR part guy, heres what you want to buy: [img:ff12e1a347]http://www.autocentre.ua/images/stories/october09/Lancer_X12_.jpg[/img:ff12e1a347] MI-8100B451 METER ASSY-COMBI RRP= A$846+ CCJ=A$800 Obviously, you want the EVO version which will have the needle pointed downwards. If you have no concern about this and just want the center bit coloured: MI-8100B361 METER ASSY-COMBI RRP= A$640+ CCJ=A$605 There are a whole bunch of these parts: [img:ff12e1a347]http://s4.postimage.org/q0au0p0vx/image.jpg[/img:ff12e1a347] MI-8100B191 METER ASSY-COMBI RRP=A$680+ CCJ=A$645 As you can see this only goes up to 180km/h for JDM Galant Fortis.

My question is, will the Evo cluster with the colour LCD screen work on a 09' RA? I know the cluster with colour screen from an ASX (2012) works ok, but wonder if the evo one will work also.

Also, anyone figured out yet who in Australia can reprogram the cluster to match the km?

Yes evo one will fit, I have one.
And when I rang up Mitsu, they wouldnt touch the cluster even though it was all oem parts. Probably just covering their behinds in the event something dodgy happened.

How did you get yours reprogrammed then to match KM?

Did the Speedometer etc need to get calibrated?
