Running radio w/o engine + steering wheel controls not working correctly

Just wondering if ifs possible to run the headunit/radio for a long time without the car auto switching itself off? I've tried leaving it in ACC mode but it switches off after 20-30 min.

Also i've installed a new headunit (dmh-z5350bt) but my hands free calling buttons on the steering wheel doesnt work correctly. The voice command button and pickup button both just toggle mute and the end call button can only pickup and not end calls. Anyone got any ideas and do you know if I can link the voice command button with google/siri?

You can adjust the auto switch off time if you had the MMCS system in the car.I think 30 mins is the maximum it can be set to anyway

Yup
From memory it's controlled by the ETACS box and can be taken out to about one hour
