Need some advice on some headlights.

Postby Evo_Girl » Tue Apr 17, 2012 2:10 pm

Hey guys. I found a pair of headlights that I really really like. But they are a bit pricey, so I wanted to have you guys have a look at them and give me your opinions on whether they are worth the money or not? Also because I am not really good with electrics, I am a bit worried that they say plug and play? I mean wouldn't the angel eyes have to be connected differently to the headlights? Anyone keen on explaining this to me LOL and also has anyone bought from MARS?

i dare say the angel eyes and the LED strip will be pre wired and they are your parking lights. so they will be just plug and play

@ Hoges do you think they are worth the money?

@bd-850 that would make sense that they are pre-wired, didn't think of that LOL Thanks but can you wire them so that they are day lights, like the BMW'a and Audi's have?

Yeah Mars confirmed both the angel eyes and the "DRLs" come pre-wired to the parkers when I asked them about it a couple weeks ago (I was going to get the same ones as well as some HIDs, but decided to save my pennies instead). I can forward the email to you if you want.

I don't know if it comes with a wiring diagram, but it shouldn't be too hard for an electrical person to single out the DRLs and bypass the connector thingy and run them straight to the battery. But I don't know much about car electronics so personally I'd take it to an electrician or just leave it.

Great headlights...Seriously gets me thinking about getting some myself! Anyone know who on here has photos of these installed I could look at??

If you got these headlamps for A$350 delivered, you really need to be sharing the link!

Posting a box the size and weight of a set of head lamps is already A$75 insured. (I know I've tried).

So technically, the headlamps cost A$275 which is barely A$137.50 a side.

BARGAIN!!

Sorry, totally forgot I posted here! Found the Malaysian supplier on Facebook, and went back through my messages. I think I got confused between my taillights which were ~$300, and the headlights which I paid ~$590 for. Sorry for misleading people.

Anyway the link is: http://www.facebook.com/sriardin
