I reckon a 32" LCD would look good in the back of your sportsback Bandit ;)

if you guys ever buy belkin stuff, never pay full price for it.

i worked @ the good guys for 3 1/2 years selling digital cameras & computers and can tell you there's usually at least 100% markup on belkin products..

good stuff, but wayyy too much profit on them

There's 2 different types of inverters u can get... Modified an pure sine wave... Modified is a raw kind of power used for things like power tools with quite wide tolerences for spiking an Wat not... Pure sine wave is exactly as the name suggests but is perfect for electrically sensitive equipment like ur laptop for running straight from or charging. Jaycar stock both pure is more expensive like double from my memory. They will also do a charger specifically for charging ur laptop

WTF ? You do not need an inverter to charge/power phones/laptops/GPS etc. from the car cigarette lighter socket .... a 12v DC to **v DC converter is all you need.

And you don't need a pure sine wave for a laptop anyways. The AC adapter converts the 240v to 16v or what ever the laptop is..

But like Ron says, you don't need an inverter anyways...

I Was just saying... I know u don't need it to charge anything... but u can do more with it in the future was the point I was making.

And yes i agree you can run the laptop from a modified but a pure sine for a laptop or tv or computer is better the pure puts out cleaner electricity. More chance of frying the charger or if it has an internal power supply like a tv you will toast the whole tv.
