Reverse Sensor Placement

Hey all,
I am looking at installing reverse sensors in the Mrs' sportsback. I have an aftermarket kit, but am unable to find much information or a decent picture of the placement of the factory installed sensors.
I know the OEM kit comes with a template - so I am wondering if anyone has installed these and can send me a copy of the template, or at least a decent picture of the placement please.
Thanks.
Joe.

Hi Joseph .... I understand your a Newbe & probably not quite used to this site yet ..... thats OK but the "Search Bar" at the Top R/H side of the Home page can be very useful, learn to use it when requiring info.
In the meantime, read these threads, they be assist you.
PS: read them all through:
REVERSE PARKING SENSORS
Fitting Reverse Parking Sensors
Cheers & Welcome to ClubCJ

Hey Sam,
Thank you - I'm new here, but am quite familiar with forum protocol.
I did do a search and found the two threads you linked - but there is no SPECIFIC information about the actual placement of the sensors themselves.

OK then Joseph.....
everyone who has ever fitted the sensors in the factory suggested position has found them to be "TOO LOW" which causes contiual false beeping.
Place them higher ...approx centre line of rear number plate.
I'll try and post-up some pics of nine later.

Sam we can not help as we have sedans and Joe needs a sportsback.

Thanks Sam for the info.
I guess if the stock positions are not ideal, then I guess I will just find a better spot that aims back, rather than angled down.
And as aspir3 said, I have a Sportsback, so no licence plate in the rear bar, but that gives me an idea of the ideal height.

If you go to a Mitsubishi dealer they should be able to give you the installation drawings.
