Hey

When I was at the servo this arvo I noticed something white on the bottom of my spoiler, where it joins to the boot.
After further inspection the white bit is actualy a small crack in the spoiler, and on both sides :(

Has anyone else noticed this on their spoiler?
How woulda this happened? Am I shutting my boot too hard, although I do try to shut it gently, with the weight of the spoiler the boot is very heavy compaired to non-spoiler boots.
Would this be covered by any type of warrenty?

I wil put up some pics when have access to a computer.

I'd assume it'd be covered by warranty, because the location of the crack would make it hard for mitsu to say you sat on it or something like that...

If the car came with it i.e. on the sales contract, YES covered up to 5 yrs.

If installed by a Mits dealer and is a genuine part, YES covered 1 yr from install.

Any other possibility, NO.

So bodywork isn't guaranteed to not fall off for more than a year?

@dire: Based on what my dealer tells me. Any genuine mitsi part put on by a Mitsi dealer service is ONLY warrantied for 1 yr.

Kinda silly I know but that's how my dealer operates.

That is standard practice Ofey.

If bought at time of delivery it falls under the Mitsu New Car Warranty.

If bought as an accessory after purchase it falls under the Mitsu Diamond Accessory Warranty.

That is the first spoiler I have seen with an issue on CCJ. Mine was a dealer fit and the paint cracked, but that was because their contractor painted it poorly.
