Hello all, ive been keeping my eye on a small body kit for my car
Ive come across Fibresports on ebay so i went on to their website
http://www.awcinfo.com//secureshop/cate ... cat_id=486
They are located about 1.25 hours away from me, do you guys think the kit would be ok? seems pretty similar to the kits of Mitch and others
Cheers

Ahh yes I found this site not long ago...
They look identical to the PMR kit to my eye, but I don't know if they have the same origins or quality.
I'm pretty sure they won't be painted, so you'll have to get it all home somehow, spend a lot more getting them colour matched and painted and then find someone to put it all on for you
SSV has the same kit and more but seem to be more expensive...

These kits were originally made by XDC, they are now out of business and a few places own the forms to the design and can now reproduce them. They are the same to the ones you see on the PMR edition lancers. Except for the spoiler

They have the moulds and reproduce the XDC Kit as shown on their website. Link =

They used to be established in Kirrawee Sydney but moved their entire Kit Manufacturing facility down to Nowra mid last year.
They still have an enquiries office in Kirrawee that processes all their enquiries for the Sydney base.

Yeah apparently this place makes the kit on order... and what caught my eye is that the kit isnt fiberglass so thats a bonus IMO
I may go out and have a chat, my main concern is getting it put on

Might I chime in with some advice, if your car is lowered or have intentions to lower. Or if you live in a place with alot of high bollards or steep inclines you have to come down from, I would strongly advise you to get a PU front lip.
The usual grades of materials car bodykit parts are made of are (let's not talk about CF) :
1. ABS plastic (The OEM bumper bar on your cars are made of this)
2. PU (which has a slightly rubbery behaviour and does not break nor shatter)
3. FRP aka Fibreglass Re-enforced Plastic (abit better than pure fibreglass)
4. FG aka Fibreglass (Cracks easily)
It is also in this order of pricing. Cheapest being 4.
For front lips and side skirts, I strongly suggest 1 or 2. Sideskirts, perhaps can do 3. NEVER EVER buy a FG front lip. NEVER. Your heart will hurt.
Rear diffusers, you can actually do FG though.

1. ABS plastic (The OEM bumper bar on your cars are made of this)
2. PU (which has a slightly rubbery behaviour and does not break nor shatter) Ofey mate what will I do without you mate your a champ so I have a good material front and rear lip kit because they are made out of ABS Plastic and sideskirt
