At last I have found a straight second hand MY08 VR and am looking at fitting 18" VRX rims and have found a set of 5 for $550 that are unmarked and without rubber.
What should I expect to pay?

$550 is very cheap.
I believe they are that much for 1 from Mitsubishi.
Often you can find a new or near enough with stock tyres for about $800. But everyone complains about the tyres.

Tbf that is a reasonable price but you should probably be expecting to pay around the same amount for the tyres.

That's an excellent price Steve
Tyres will vary greatly in price but as the guys are saying expect to pay at least the same or more depending on brand and quality

yep i am. i am planning to become premium member next month and list them for sale officially.
i've just been fielding a few enquiries from WA members recently who know i bought new rims and wasn't planning to sell them originally until people started asking.
please note i'm not trying to break the rules guys, if i sell them i'll be a premium member

@Steve: you could probably see if you could bump it down a little more given there's no rubber on them. while the A10s may not be the best, they are still $$$ on the tyres.
personally, I'd see if you could get them down to $500.
but I'm a cheap asian...so, go figure
