'Activ' rear spoiler now for sale

Postby Bandit » Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:22 pm

I have noticed a few people say that they really like the rear boot spoiler that comes standard with the 'Activ' model.

Just to advise, Mitsubishi have released this as a genuine accessory so you can now buy them for your cars. They call it a rear boot spoiler (luxury style).

i happen to like the activ spoiler.. it's subtle yet aggressive.

i really don't like big/high spoiler.. just a preference.

I Too only wanted a lower spoiler Karl And The Activ Spoiler sits nicely and dosen't block out any Veiw from behind ..In Fact it blocks off the headlights from the cars traveling Behind so the lights are not shining in your revision mirror ...So Iam pretty Happy with mine :)

Usually it's the REGULAR RETAIL PRICE? So you can expect to pay about A$300+?

Hi DORA_ANNE - yes that's the one. I am surprised that Mitsubishi call it something else internally (see ofey's post) as I got the "luxury style" name from their website in the accessories section.

They look quite nice I agree and I also like your Euro style number plates too!

Thanks Karl Yes I don't mind doing things a bit different :) I Did a bit of homework on the spoiler as I wasn't sure if the Activ Spoiler would fit properly with the VR lip spoiler ... Then I noticed That the VRX spoiler that some were fitting to their VR'S Also with the lip Sat just in front of the lip ...So I Thought why not , It sits the same as the VRX spoiler only it's lower ...

I have this spoiler,
its great, doesnt affect visability, you can only sometimes just notice it in the bottom of the rear view mirror.

@Andrew Thank you It is the first Time I have got personalized number plates and I liked these ones as they have the Sydney harbour Bridge on them ....Some Thing Different :)

Also Iam a bit confused with what ofey had posted up (RX SPOILER) @ ofey I saw a photo of the RX spoiler and it was a different spoiler to this Activ one .... Regards Doreen

Hey guys if anyone can confirm or deny... I have an ACTIV 2010 model and would like to know whether the activ spoiler can be swapped out directly with the VRX spoiler, are the mounting holes lined up exactly or would I need to drill new holes?

Thread for visual differences between spoilers located here:
http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?p=129174#129174

If anyone knows the answer to this I would be very appreciative.

thnx

oh and by the way, regarding the activ spoiler with the vr spoiler added above, the position of the activ spoiler is slightly further forward than the default position. Probably obvious to most, but anyhow..
