HPS Short RAM InTake

Hi Guys
Hope everyone is well. I got a HPS short ram intake off ebay and im not sure where the bracket attaches to the engine intake. can someone help me with this. I just not sure where the bolt goes into the engine part.

ok here is where they are saying to attach the bracket but Im not to sure where to put it.It says in the instructions"install the intake tube bracket onto the intake manifold.

I am assuming that the kit came with a short straight silicone pipe. I would just attach that and see how solid it is. I don't use any extra brackets. Mine has the provision for a bracket too, but couldn't work out where to mount it. I didn't bother in the end!!!

so does yours move much . did you tie it to something or does it just sit there.

Just sits there. The silicone hoses are pretty strong, plus I have the pipe pretty flush with the intake manifold.

Hey mate

When i had my RRM SRI, it mounted to one of the engine covers. Im sure someone will be able to name it for me, but its the plastic casing around where the spark plugs are. You have to undo one bolt holding that housing on, put the mounting piece on then secure it back.

Not the best pic, but hopefully it will apply the same with your SRI as it does with the RRM one...

OK I just put it in and it sits in there nicely.thankyou both for your great help, tadz I will have a look and see if it mounts onto that cover. once again you guys have solved my problem
