Hey All,

Some advise please. Does anybody know what is the best way to remove some sticky residue from my front windscreen? I installed the Mitsi Front windscreen decal last night but now I have this sticky residue left over from the carrier paper. :? Any thoughts on how to remove it? I've heard some metho will do it? Don't want to use a razor blade to remove if possible and afraid to damage the decal. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Try some wax and grease remover
You can get it at most reputable Auto parts stores
Put some on a soft cloth and wipe carefully at the residue, try not to dampen the decal
It should come straight off - Chris.

You can get this stuff called "Goo Remove" from safeway. Had a RRM sticker on the back of my car and it left like a silvery residue on the windscreen, sprayed a bit of that on left it for a minute and i could rub it off.

Its basicly what matt has said, its a citric based mixture...

Autoglym fastglass and a microfibre cloth for windscreens.

All that has been listed will do the trick but if you do want another option get some "Shelite" you can even get it at some supermarkets and it works a treat, awesome for removing tar as well.

Yeah, thanks all. Been using Mum's Orange power and eucalyptus oil and it's working. It's really stuck on good though, but it's slowly coming off. Thanks all for your advise... :D
