A stock Evo X bonnet will NOT fit a VR. The Evo's body is shaped similarly but the mount points and angles of the bends are different.

You will find a Ralliart Bonnet will fit without problem.

Getting hold of one may be hard as most dealers will NOT sell you one or make it terribly difficult to get one.

If you look around online, you may be able to find some people selling Evo X bonnets but those are replicas made to fit on a NA Lancer.

You could ask some Evo forums to see who will sell you theirs if you're still keen to try some metal work getting it to fit.

ARS a club sponser does them, however I think they have to ship it as the package would be too large to air freight.

I'd like to add to all this that the ARS one or Accolade ones are NOT stock EVO X bonnets. They are replicas made to fit the NA CJs.

if you want a replica go ARS because you'll be waiting forever for the Accolade one (do a search many problems with the company) if you really really want a genuine evo bonnet i'll be selling mine about may or june when my new one arives otherwise you could try Ryan @ Just JDM (paid forum sponsor) because i know he has a CF bonnet on his car and his stock bonnet is probably sitting in his garage.

I believe the X Factor bonnet is planned for alloy material, when it is finally in production.

Are you sure it's X-Factor... he isn't making a alloy bonnet anymore... he wanted to, but can't for technical reason. The machine required to make it, being aluminium, is too expensive for the small number of bonnets he'd actually sell.

I got that direct from the horse's mouth. He came to Brisbane remember and we had a lengthy discussion about it.
