HI GUYS

after a month of receive my FG front lip I decide to paint it by my self .

I used simple material that you can buy in repco o whatever is handy for you.

I'm working in a proper DIY document but i want to show my result first.

material
sand paper from 250 to 800 ($20 approx.)
2 prime for plastic 400 g ... (tick) ($40 approx.)
2 cans of colors 400 g. duplicolor ($40 approx.)
1 can of clear duplicolor ($20 approx.)

CLEANER for plastic , hot water to heat the cans, microfiber cloth.

and that's all this was the result.

Nice work, definitely a cheaper alternative ;)

Mine being A31 silver it'd be a lot harder to match the paint, and I'd prefer to to be the exact same, so I'll get mine done professionally :p

+1 for effort

you are right the difference between the blacks is minimal, other colors will be difficult to match.

even though repco make mix paint to match the color , will be 50 dollars for a 350 g can .

but professionally is always the best.

This is just me, I like work with my hands and do it by my self ... :) THANKS FOR THE +1

Looks pretty good Armando, I like how you masked off the very bottom and left it Matte.

Well I apply a clear coat to protect the paint and looks a bit shine but not glossy like the other half. in the end looks more black satin rather than Matt ...
still cool I think.

Thank for the commentary

Not a bad finish for a presure pack job. Well done.

However, I am not sure how long the paint will last in the new condition especially on a front lip.

I much prefer to use 2 pac paint with a spray gun and compressor.
