Where to get parts???

Hi guys,

Just wondering, below's the list of the parts i wanna get straight off the EVO 10, some of them i think have already been mentioned and advertised during Group Buys, sorry i missed em out and couldn't find the threads anymore, could anyone shed me some lights on all of the ones mentioned below and PRICES please:

1. EVO 10 Wide black Fenders (How much and where could i get em from, can I still order them from the Club?? Is there any still in stock?? Ozziee?? Sir VRX???)

2. EVO 10 Front middle bar where the number plate sits on (Again prices and if any at all still in stocks would be very welcome indeed )

3. Evolution badge (I've seen a few on Ebay here and there, but they ain't genuine EVOLUTION X in the 10's verison, mostly either Evo 9 EVO badge or other fake ones, does anyone know where to get it?? Cost???)

Go back to your dealer and buy an Evo X if you want Evo badges. My pet hate is people that upbadge their car to be something it's not

Ryan, i see you can be a real Angel as well as quite a p***k sometime as well.

If guys with an ES can put a Ralliart badge on their CJ, whats wrong with having an Evolution badge on a Ralliart??? AFter all, Ralliart's are far more related to EVo's than any Non-turbo CJ's are to any Ralliarts.

And why do you think people are chucking on EVO 10 Wings, fake Evo 10 replica rims, wide fenders etc??? Well, some people are just aspired to the looks, i dont see any thing wrong with that at all. Anyways, if you knew the answers to the questions i was actually ASKING, I'd really appreicate if you could shed me some lights on that, otherwise, just so that you know my biggest pet-hate is ppls minding other ppls businesses and telling others what to do. If thats what you are really after, you should be a copper mate, wrong profession maybe???

The Evo X middle bit on the front bar is sold by one of our Sponsors X-Factor Design

As for the badge prob have to go with a genuine one from Mitsubishi, you could try our sponsor PMR see what they have

So these X-Factor Design guys, do they have an email or contact number anywhere?? Are they based in Australia, cos I prefer to get them from here than having to import them from say STATES.

Does anyone have the contact details for PMR???

Sir VRX or OZZIEE and the likes, i'd still love to get some feedback from you guys.

REgarding the bit standing out, hahah cheers man, they are actually just for my own private enjoyment, not the biggest fan of showpony.

Well I am against people putting Ralliart badges on none Ralliarts aswell. Bottomline though is it's not a Evo, so don't badge it as one. I really couldn't care how many Evo parts someone fits to their car, but leave your original badges on and don't going 'up-badging' it. How about you go and ask on EvoOz what they think about people badging non-Evo's as their beloved Evo's, bet you won't get to pleasant a welcome from them

This was highlighted a while back on MCA when a member saw a Lancer VR with a XDC bodykit, lowered with rims and a Evo X badge. They were none the wiser and thought it actually was an Evo X.

If I could understand the rest of your first post i might be able to shed some light... This club has never 'stocked' any parts that you refer to, there was a group buy from Malaysia of Evo X style nose cones for standard Lancers and a stick on black fake 'vent' for the fenders but no such Evo X middle bumper for a Ralliart or 'wide fenders' ever sold or offered as a group buy.

The Evo X middle bit only comes for the NA Lancer models and it was from Scorpion Motorsports in Malaysia, not X-Factor.

You'd also need to make sure the Evo X fenders can be fitted to the RA's chasis and that it fits with the RA bumper.

Lolz, i apologise for my language earlier Ryan, thanks for your reply.

I can understand how the EVO guys feel about other ppls using their badges, but how do you think us Ralliart owners feel seeing VR and ES CJ's with Ralliart bodykit and badges on front and back??? Just cos we don't voice it, doesn't mean we dont feel the insult too. But then again, i'm not gonna be running around and ask ppls to take them off or anything cos it simply isn't my business what people wanna to do on their car, if they wanna put on a Lambo badge on their CJ, fine by me, each to their own liking i say.

Back to what I was asking earlier now.

I don't mind those 'EVO style nose cones for standard Lancer" as long as they are straight bolt on ones, and the stick on black fake fenders would also be fine since I dont really wanna go out of my line about these things they are just for looks, but it would be nice if someone could point to me the contacts email address and the likes?? Or do I have to order thru the admin guys like Ozzie and Ofey??? Whichever way is easier i guess.

Can you please give me the details on how to, or preferably, if you could order the front Evo style nose cone and the wide fenders for me mate?? I'm not sure how exactly the way to go about it, since I've never done this before, but can you send me a private message so that I can reply to you as well (not exactly sure on how the messages work as well, cant find Ofey's email address anywhere)

Can you also include in the total cost involving both parts in your email with post included??

The Evo style nose cone is only for NA (non-turbo) lancers as I said earlier.

How about people stop making value judgements on others and moreover, what they do the their cars.... This isn't only one member either...

If a car maker has a problem with lesser model owners putting parts on their cars, they could make these exclusive to genuine owners only...
(like Ferrari does). I am sure that even Ferrari enjoys people wearing merchandise even though they don't own a $200K car... Its all about brand recognition.

I have a Ralliart type badge on my car, in fact Ofey sells something similar too.

Everyone has different tastes, budgets and interests. I personally wouldn't badge a ralliart an evo, and funnily enough if I had an evo I would probably pull the badges off that too!!

I purely put the ralliart badge on because I have been involved in rallying for a long time, and have always loved evos etc and all things Ralliart.

At the end of the day it is each to their own, but I guess in some respects we have to accept that everyone has an opinion. Much like when I posted pics of my grille.

Errm why do you think dealers that do things by the book need the VIN number off a RA to order RA parts or the VIN number of a VRX to order VRX parts, etc???? Perhaps to try and stop lesser model owners upbadging/fitting out their cars.

Oh and ofey does sell them, but if MMAL found out PMR would be in strife and hence why they can only do a few here and there and not get them in bulk
