Well I have finally got around to doing my grille. I am still not sure I like it. It is just temporarily zip tied on at the moment, till I can work out a more permanent way.

I will leave it on and think about whether I like it!!!

I am not really sure yet!!

I just wanted to try something different :)

I was actually thinking the same about the foggies too...

Keeping it black gives better contrast imo... but if you like, keep the bling!

Looks good like that.
I caught a glimpse of a VRX here in Perth like that about 6 mo ago as it turned past me down my street.
My car has blacked out bumper and c lip so if I did that would get black anodized mesh just keep it all dark.

Thats my other option, to paint it black... I will keep it this way until next weekend and make a decision. I will probably black out the bumper, or get the black evo look part.

Yeah like that Aspired. Those ones are not for the CJ though :(

I am thinking about getting some more indentical mesh and cutting some for the foggies. I will probably end up painting the lot gloss black I think.

I am starting to think that the silver is not fitting in with the rest of the car.

If you leave it silver paint the mesh with clear laquer so it seals it and stops corrosion - just a little tip......

Good point Mizta. I will definitely do that if I keep it, thinking gloss black is the go... still gets away from stock but not so much bling....

Might have to fire up the compressor tomorrow... decisions decisions!!!

lzy-eye, kudos for a cheapish mod that makes your car stand out!!!

thanks tryg, funny thing is the top is growing on me, but dont really like the bottom. Must be the black surround that contrasts it.

The problem is that it looks terrible with the top mesh and the bottom standard!! Think I might go black I think... might be doing some other painting tomorrow so we will see!!

Only trouble Shane is the black will stonechip and look terrible in a few weeks with the k's you are driving......

Yeah, that is a good point Chris.

Will fit in with the bumper and bonnet then!! I couldn't powercoat either, because matching the fog lights will be hard and then they will still chip...

I might leave it the way it is for now, until I am sick of it and then make a decision then :)
