Alright, so since I am like in love with this bonnet, and dont wanna spend my entire savings on an oem one (lmao)
So would it be a good idea to buy a wrecked evo x bonnet (eg one that had a rear accident and written off) repaint it and chuck it on there?
Or if any of you have a bonnet you wanna get rip of I'm your guy

Check out Pickles auctions. Attend and buy the wreck or watch and see who bought it, more then likely a wrecking yard.
Ask if they want to sell the bonnet. Catalogue is available on the internet.

Open your search to outside of Melbourne. Evolution Racing Spares in Sydney would have a few I'd wager. Don't expect to pay sub $5-600 though. They're worth a fair amount.
I was lucky and purchased mine that had hail damage off a fellow ClubCJ member for $300. Lot of work has gone into it to making it perfect again but it really does completely change the car's look.
Goodluck.

Thanks for your support man!
Unfortunately I am still an L player (yes I know, sue me) and uh, cant really justify the trip to sydney atm, maybe when I get my P's in like 4 months, but yeahhhhhhhhhhhh
IF ANYONE HERE HAS A BONNET THEYD LIKE TO SELL I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE AN INBOX hahaha, you're right man it does change the car heaps, it isnt an over the top bonnet, quite subtle but makes it look mean as!

Just a waiting game I spose
Can't wait to get my P's and put some performance mods into it! Maybe a Merlin tune in the meantime (if he ever comes to melb

I am surprised that someone will repair a hail damaged aluminium bonnet. Must be a euro specialist.
I did it myself. Lots of time as I'd never done that before but it's been a good learning experience.
