Pretty sure the rear EVO bumper won't fit any other CJ Lancer.

BUT you can get an EVO style bumper made for the CJ.

Also I'd make sure there isn't any hidden damage to the rear but this depends on how hard the hit was.

eBay is a good place to start, there are a number of after market bumpers on the market.

Others here know way more than me, maybe use the search function at the top of the window?

Bodykits in Brisbane sells them (not sure about quality and fitment, seen pro's and con's about them) RainbowPen on Facebook apparently they are pretty good quality and fitment is almost perfect, or eBay

the alternative is to buy a RA rear from mitsu, (circa $500 plus paint) both require a dual exhaust though.

Not that I need the headache but it's good you're making the best of this, I'd probably do the same given insurance companies usually use genuine parts for repairs, and the after market bumpers are often cheaper to step up to something that looks better.

Carmate is good from what I have heard. But it's all down to personal preference.

Most insurance claims let you get a different style bumper if you pay the difference from past experiences.

Yeah I've had this experience couple of months ago, my bro rear ended avcar and my insurance were going to give me a standard front bumper as that's what they thought was on it, but when I showed them the bumper they order it from Mars, I just had to pay for installation.

Got bad experience with Carmate, i bought a front bumper from them ( it was for a Magna) and i had literally to cut the bumper in half and fiberglass it again to suit as it was nowhere near to fit. But that was like 8 years ago, they might changed since

I was going to do it through insurance but as im 18 the excess is high costing me $1200, also the car has a clean record (revscheck) so i would like to keep it like that, however the guy that caused the accident is giving me $500 as thats what the repair and respray was quoted by a panel beater.

I just want double check, would this fit a VRX, because ES and VRX have the same measurement, Correct?
