Front Area Decision

Postby Josh_Emerton » Tue Oct 21, 2008 1:54 am

Ok - for modifications to the front of my car I have two things in mind.

I WILL be carbon-taping the front '/ \' area - both the middle and lower bar.

I am undecided as to the Front Air Dam OEM extensions - they cost friggin $217 ea for cryin out loud! For a footlong piece of fibreglass!

I'm just wondering about OTHER front splitter options - for example an OEM Evo X front splitter would look much better - despite a $1500 pricetag - but i'm wondering more to do with custom stuff - what have ya got?

And I dont mean like the Splitter xxlancergtsxx has installed on his - thats installed ONTO the FAD's...

Take looks into consideration - the car looks alright without the things - i'm not MUST BUY or anything - I just want my car to look good.

Where are you moving the number plate to? I never liked the number plate on the side Evo thing - I'm just gonna get black private plates :) (JOSH 18 or SPD DMN or LIC PL8)

Besides - I guess the white on the bottom gives it (yet again) the Stormtrooper look.

TBH I don't like it but thats just me - prefer a centered black background plate. with Gold, or Red, lettering. in the MIDDLE. lol. I'm traditional I guess but I consider a moved license plate to be the sign of a ricer.

I'm aware its an OEM part - its an EVO thing right?>
Just most MOVED license plates I see are tied to the grill with zipties and shit like that.
It can look good, I was just never a fan of it.
Same goes for CF window vents and that multiplesharkfin roof diffuser. I just think they serve the purpose of actually detracting from the overall look.
