Will lowering my suspension effect insurance?

Just wondering guys, if altering the suspension of my car (lowering) will effect my insurance?? any thoughts?

Agreed ask your insurer don't go trusting any answer off the forums. Plus you need to add it to your policy once it gets lowered.
For a less than 30mm drop you should have no dramas though,,,

NRMA in NSW I'm told is a 30mm lowering limit...

What I ususally tell my insurance company is that I put in heavy duty springs for towing, it helps though if you have a tow bar, but I've never had any problems with a reasonable lowering

Talk to 2 or 3 consultants in your insurance company (some of them give you cr@p info) to make sure.

just use just cars or AAMI and you wont have any problems with modifications

lowering is so confusing, if there wasnt so much effort i would be sitting so low
