Hi Club CJ members,
can anyone suggest where in Melbourne I can get a replacement roof spoiler for a 2012 Lancer ES Sportsback (new / used)?
Tried a couple of panel beaters and they don't reckon it can be fixed because of where it has broken off (at the mounting holes).
The cost of a new spoiler from Mitsubishi is ridiculous.

Note the VRX and ralliart sportbacks have a different roof spoiler than the lower models.

If you want to 'upgrade' now is the time. :)

you're welcome! i was going to purchase from the first link i think but they didn't have my colour type (lightning blue, they only had deep blue) but they said they could order one in for about 150 but the installation was expensive.

I talked to someone on ebay who said installation was only $80 for a 30 minute job whereas the guys who were going to order it in were going to charge like about 150-200 for a 2 hour installation.

Kevin, you're the man.

Isn't it a straightforward DIY installation - just bolting it to the tailgate through the existing mounting holes?

It would be but i have an ES so i'd have to get a template and measure everything out to drill the holes in and theres the after job for making sure it doesn't rust etc

even so, i;m not that confident to do it myself. I'd rather have a pro to do it, better safe then sorry

Shop around panel beaters, and offer cash in hand. Often they are happy to make a deal then

I got mine fitted by the car audio guys doing the reversing sensors and sub installation - mine's a sedan and the holes are pre-marked from the factory - any markers on the inside of the hatch?

Can anyone recommend a good paintshop in SE Melbourne that can repaint a spoiler for a reasonable price (~$200)?
