How easy do you think these would be to sand back and paint?

Not a fan of the carbon fibre look. Though not sure if you can sand and paint this stuff back at all being carbon fibre.

Thoughts?

I'm sick of not being able to see out rear view mirror with the VRX wing. Diffuser is sick, just not a fan of carbon fibre.

I may just go wingless.

i havent seen how bad the wing is but if its right in the middle of your vision, why not get an EVO wing. lol

i dont like the wing deletion kit because you will still see where the wing mounts, just get a PB to fill the holes

Cos if I get an Evo X wing my car will look the same as everyone elses cars and that is boring.

And yeah it blocks out the middle of your vision...its pretty annoying.

Adds a bit of colour to a white car - good with black front grill, black diffuser, black wheel arch grill, etc. Not sure if it looks good on a blue, red or silver car though. Maybe on a black sedan!

Just put a black vinyl over the carbon fibre.

Too many contours for vinyl to work well.

insteed of paying 200+ for the wing delete kit, why not take it to a body shop and they can plug up the holes for way less it it will look probablyy better

Cos it adds a lip spoiler and also means I won't have to have the majority of the boot repsrayed for it to look any good - running the risk of having a colour that doesn't match properly. From all accounts it's incredibly hard to match mitsu's new pearl/metalic paint colours especially the blue.

I'd probably be better off swapping someone with an ES/VR for their boot who wants a wing and doesn't already have one haha.

yep thats what i plan to do.. either find someone who wants to swap or try mitsu spare parts or wreckers.. the wing position is the worst! right in the middle of the rear view lol..

The VRX has the button for the boot release on the back though. The ES and VR dont have it.

You'll have to let them have it with the VRX boot lid, so that'll mean you'll be without the button or have to order a new one and drill the whole out for it on the ES/VR boot.

Yes you'll have trouble getting a good colour match with the blue on the CJs, only good colour match I've seen is the one by Shadows!! Local bodyshops have trouble getting the right pearlescent effect in the paint, so it'll only match under some lighting conditions.

My opinion, either fill the boot and hope the colour match is good, or get the Evo X spoiler :P

That is lame. Also everyone will have Evo X wings at this rate, I don't want my car to look like everyone elses.
