Rear Bumper removal.

As the name of the topic reads, i am wondering how to remove the rear bumper off of an Lancer ES hatchback.
I was hit in a parking lot (un-present) with no note which was really annoying and would like to replace the whole rear bumper because a friend of mine has one which fits on my one so i'd rather that than cough up 800 bucks for it to be resprayed and fixed etc.
I've tried looking it up on here and google but nothing really helps me, just pictures which confuse me even more.
So if any help that would be great thanks!
Also Merry christmas and a happy new year, stay safe!

You pretty much just have to undo the various screws and clips inside the rear wheel wells and then pull on the bumper from both sides to undo the clips and work your way towards the middle.

Hey Kevin.
Unfortunately there aren't many videos on how to do it. But what I do know is, it's like unscrewing a front bumper. There are bolts you need to take off and then you pull the bumper out of the clips that hold the bumper in place. Where these bolts are, I do not know.
Chunky9 has done it. Maybe you can ask him for assistance. Since I'm taking care of the ClubCj youtube channel, I'll research how to do it and post a video up. It shouldn't be complicated

Ah alright thanks guys!
I will also continue my search on the removal and if i find anything i'll post back up on here, i appreciate your time to help out.
I could see that there are both clips and bolts attached, some of the bolts are attached to the wheel wall and just underneath directly behind the wheel wall itself.
Thank you.

Kevin,
Two bolts (open the boot and they are just inboard the tail lamps), remove the clips along the bottem edge of the bumper - get dirty - and up the wheel arch. As said before, the difficult (feels like you are breaking something) part is popping the ends out of the retaining clips where each end meets the top section of the wheel arch.It is pretty obvious if you miss a fixing so be brave!

I'll have a little look around the car tomorrow and check out the key spots.
Thanks for the help!
