Rear Diffuser- options??

Hi everyone

As some of you are aware, I've had issues with the quality of the diffuser that I bought. I will be contacting Talon tomorrow in regards to a refund/exchange. The diffuser I got was made of fibreglass, and I had taken it to a painter who warned me that basically it was a very bodgy product- having many major cracks in the gel coat. There are no permanent fixes..... they also forgot to send the tips. I have noticed that this has happened to at least one other member....

ANYWAYS

Does anyone know where I can buy a good rear diffuser like the one at the link below, and if possible in plastic??

I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on it

I'm taking it to someone else as a double-check thing

That really sucks about that rear diffuser from Talon.
A few members on here including myself have got the RA style rear lip from Bodykits Kingdom which is made of plastic. There should be some pics of it in my garage.

BKK I'm a bit iffy with after buying their RA front and having fitment issues....as well as reading about the fitment problems members had with their rear diffusers...

Never heard of this problem, I have the talon and the paint on it is perfect.

You could vinyl the diffuser though? I did mine in carbon and it looks pretty good;

Talon is normally quite good. But most of the time you'll have fitment issues with glass.

Vinyl is fine as long as you use decent quality stuff

I'm not a huge fan of plasti dip because of the matte finish/rubber feel of the finish, it attracts too much dirt which is annoying on lower parts of the car like the diffuser.

It's good stuff for a bit of DIY though :D

I was going for matte black. If I keep the bar, ill have to get it bolted on just in case...hmm im getting another 2 opinions today from different people. Cf can be pretty expensive

You can get matte black vinyl as well.

The choice is obviously yours though.

Plasti Dip = easier to use, cheaper (only slightly if you do the vinyl yourself)
Vinyl = harder to apply, but much better finish

Im getting it painted for now. Getting pictures of the cracks as they are now. Then, if they reappear, ill be contacting Talon and expecting some sort of compensation or else ill have to get the gel coat redone.
They emailed back saying that it had no cracks at all etc etc and that basically the painter is incompetent
