I was browsing the australian Mitsubishi site and came across a new accessory for rear bumpers.
Has anyone purchased this and how much it would roughly cost? I tried to call up but they asked for a VIN number and I'm at work at the moment lol

One thing that sportback owners get (sort of) that sedan owners don't have.
Y'know, sort of evens out
custom boot lighting
custom tail lights
various spoilers to choose from
etc etc

It is the "diffuser" that the sportsbacks have isn't it?

Kind of, although ours is built into the rear bumped, it's not a separate piece.
I like the idea of it on the sedan!, I'm getting mine vinyled for the diffuser look.

Yeah I like how it's built into the sportback. I wish they did it for the sedan as well.
Good idea wrapping it in vinyl! I would have done the same. I was thinking of just making a vinyl shape to look like a diffuser but I don't mind paying more for this because it looks more real lol

I would love to get this rear airdam too, except my exhaust pipe is most likely going to be touching it.

Just got off the phone with my local dealer and they said the part would cost $260 and installation is approx $100 (the workshop was at lunch lol)
Comes painted in any body colour you want.
Quite expensive for a small part so maybe going with a vinyl cut out shape would be much better...

Yea I guess it's not a bad price is you want the OEM sport look.
But I really like the post about the vinyl diffusers.
Should be getting mine done very soon, I'll post a pic once it's done.

When I got my rear bumper replaced, I had the "diffuser" painted black, so I get the proper (sort of) diffuser look.

Alex, have you got a photo of it?
I just had a look at your gallery. I remember seeing the photo of the time you backed into a pole. Ouch!
