Sourcing Bosch Aerotwin wipers locally... FOUND!

Postby The X » Fri Aug 10, 2012 9:54 am

So my driver's side blade is munted. Dunno what happened to it, but it doesn't wipe as well and leaves a smear and some lines. So time for replacement.

So does anyone know where to source these from locally?

My local Auto1 store only has the pax side BBA450 ones still in stock $25 per blade, which is a great price but does me no good as I need the driver's BBA600.
Seems this an other Auto1 stores are switching to Trico branded blades http://tricoproducts.com.au/passenger/ as apparently dealing with Bosch is too hard. Infrequent deliveries to store and always on back order and what not. So I guess the stores are switching to a more reliable supplier?

So anyone one NSW know where to find these elusive Bosch aerotwins, the other option is via ebay where the seller can get me the pair for $66 posted.

Anyone tried or know what the TricoTech flex blades are like? They seem like a copy of the Bosch... no idea on pricing...

I would suggest you just buy the Trico ones.

the Bosch ones we get in Australia are Made in China. Nowhere as good as those you get from eBay which are Made in Belgium.

Burson's stock these and always have these in stock.

I bought a replacement BBA600 (drivers side) for $31.60
These are the "made in china" ones.

So if you really want these, get yourself to Burson's http://www.burson.com.au/

The passenger side blade is BBA450 and drivers side BBA600

The Parramatta store didn't have them on display, but had them behind the counter, so you may have to ask for them....
