Hey guys, this is what im dealing with..
im looking for advice on the best way i can blackout my front bumper and fill in the 2 holes behind where the plates normally sit, my intention is to side mount the plates.
i was tossing up between vinyl, plastidip or to just paint it. But surely there are some peeps out there that have experienced a polished result and successfully navigated the 2 holes.

I found with all the country and night driving I did the vinyl was tearing pretty quickly were the number plate holes were.
My solution was to go to the local wreckers were they gave me part of a bumper that was in the bin (from a CH lancer infact). This piece of bumper I went about cutting it to the shape of the holes left by the number plate mount, all I used to glue the pieces of bumper is was loctite gel glue it has been over 2 years now and no problems.
In terms of the police I have been pulled over once and questioned about the plate in Campbelltown when the boys in blue were on a blitz, 5 cars 8 officers type of thing. When questioned regarding the plate I told the officer I moved the plate for looks but as far as I was aware it was legal as it checked the RTA website (RTA states plate must be viewable from 20m away at a 45 degree angle from the headlight). I then told the officer if it was to tell me it was illegal I could change the plate location that night, after sum humming and haaing he said it was fine and let me go.
