DRL's are more a safety/presence feature than a "cool look" feature, studeies have shown on avg they reduce car accidents and pedestrian accidents.

Plus they look cool anyway :P

TrojanHorse wrote:Sorry to hear youre not 100% happy with them thomas but tbh, I dont overly see the prob? The pics in both daylime and nighttime look fine to me? (& look good I must add!) I would just keep them! At the end of the day, you dont REALLY need your lights on during the day, brightness isnt an really an issue and there are plenty of cars going around with no DRLs or lights on. As long as theyre plenty bright enough at night that should be fine! Just IMO personally...

Yeah I guess. There's no doubt in my mind that they look great and awesome. It's just that I wish they were a tad brighter than what they are now. But thinking positively, at least they're good in the early mornings, afternoon and evenings.

Thanks for your help guys. I'll try and see what I can do.

Tbh , and it isn't your fault, but looking at those ebay pictures...the halos don't even look bright...they look exactly the same as your ones.

Hey guys

After 37 email messages back and forth with the rateme5 guys on eBay. (A legit company), they are officially sending me the inverters. They actually sent me an inverter a few weeks ago, but it got lost in the mail so I never got that one. This time, I forced them to send it through AusPost since they're very reliable.

So, apparently this pair of inverters is supposed to replace the current one that's in the lights and it will make both the halos and the strip much brighter. Once I receive them, I'll keep you guys (who have posted in the thread) updated.

They look great at night.

But they are not that great during the day. I'll get pics soon

Lol probably not. You would have to find specific inverters for spyder ones.
