Hi Amelia - what part of Brisbane are you in?
Personally, I'd recommend getting the front bar blacked out in vinyl, by a professional - it should only cost around $55-$75, which isn't that much more than it would cost if you did it yourself, by the time you you cost in the plasti-dip, masking tape, cleanup products etc.
Wrapture Styling (now Exclusive Wraps) are a sponsor - email them, tell them you're a club member and get a quote...
Much easier!

Sweet! - they're at Coopers Plains, just down from Beaudesert/Granard Rds., so it'll be easy to get to.
If you look closely, I filled in the (six) holes that are there for the number plate (which is currently held on by zip-ties!) - that's the hard part, but if you want to just put the plate back where it is, you won't have to worry about that.
I think the guys at Wrapture/Exclusive can cover the holes for you with extra vinyl underneath the final layer if you want (most people don't do this, plus it will add to the expense!)
If you go ahead with it, take before & after shots and post them on here!
...and once you've done that, you'll probably want to to the chrome grille surround - that's gonna cost about $10 and half an hour!

Yeah, putting the plates back is just a matter of them not filling the holes in!
They'll refit the plates once they're finished.
May not hurt to contact a couple of vinyl-wrap places and get three quotes!
I bought this chrome strip:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360696970910 ... 1497.l2649
but you would only need a 3m length - I bought extra 'cos I stuffed up the first time!

I have actually been in contact with Wrapture, who have informed me they have now merged with another Brissy business to make Exclusive Wraps. And I was told the wrap would be $75 + fitting, so I am very keen!!
I have thought of using a similar type of chrome strip, so it's good to get an idea of what to use.
Oh, and your car is on their site too!
Thanks btw!! Big help!!

This was my biggest mistake I made after doing my front bumper, I left the masking tape on until the last coat :S

I left it 10 mins between each coat D:
