Seriously, I would help you happily, but;

a) you need to supply the whole top grill,
b) you have to PERMANENTLY damage the grill by cutting into it,
c) I would prefer to assist anyone with equipment and ideas, but you cut into your own grill by your own hand !!!!!

Good luck if you want to try this!

The only advice I would offer is that any light colour, other than white, from the front of the vehicle would be considered illegal....

Most of you probably already knew this anyway...

no, meant the spare grill complete with illuminated logo, relay, switch etc...

it is complete, owner just needed to connect earth, power to battery and impetus wire to parkers and mount switch.

Cost for me to make $98 (included good second-hand grille).

Still a neat profit if you consider I have it down to 3 hours with the grille handed to me (unlike 8 hours, which included pulling out and putting in etc).

I will get it down to 2 hours or less, once I have the emblems water jetted.

I will start making more of these on my long-service leave.

I am at the final stages of making my own glowing emblem.
It fits, it lights up but.......

I was wondering, I want the emblem to only glow at the same time as my interior dome light.
I have tried power to it roughly but some of the SMD LED's in the dome light stay on full time or the emblem glows on all switch settings.

Please help.....My head hurts!!!!!!

Took the easy road for now.
I linked them into my DRL's on the spare relay conector that activates when the head lights come on.

Still would likw them to work the same as the interior dome light.

well yeah, as i was saying, you can just buy a fuse tap from jaycar and use the dome light fuse. that would be much easier
