Got a few marks / scratches on the same place on both sides of the cars side skirt's, although you don't really notice it on my car as it is silver and the colour underneath looks pretty much the same!

i was going to go for silver for the same reason andrew. coz yeah silver and white would be the best for chips, say over my colour or red and that.

I blame South Australia's lack of road repairs, sooo many loose stones that have come unstuck from the tar. a respray cant cost that much, when to get the whole car vinyl wrapped would set you back between 1-2k?

you can get this clear vinyl that is used for headlights, we had it at work once and it is pretty much perfectly clear. i also believe that Toyota have started to use it for the rear of the side skirts as well. might be a good solution for anyone that wants it to blend in a bit more.

BTW Ricky, its about $25 for a 100ml pot of paint at Auto Pro, it seems with a lot of the newer mitsu paints duplicolor and power plus wont do them. the Mitsubishi graphite gray has about 14 different aspects of colours and flakes in it, and i would think the lightning blue would be about the same.
