Airdam or Spoiler?

Postby Marietta09 » Thu Oct 22, 2009 12:15 pm

Seems like a pretty simple question, but tough choice for me. Should I purchase airdams first or spoiler first? I originally thought spoiler but Im not sure if I like the look of a lancer with a spoiler and without airdams as compared to vice versa. Any suggestions?

Airdam's first for sure. I think the front of the Lancer looks incomplete without them, whereas the Lancer can still look good without the wing on the back.

yep Air dams, no offence to others but to me the car looks 'cheap' without them

yeh definately air dams.

but keep your eyes peeled on the "for sale" section..when people move up to a exo X spoiler there always looking to move on there VRX spoiler at a pretty good price....comapred to OEM...nothing like a sporty looking lancer front end

Side skirts first, then front air dams (if you're doing it in stages, like I did). I only have the lip at the back, but agree, spoiler second....

Pretty sure Ozie still has a VRX spoiler for sale give him a PM
My 2 cents - Airdams first but watch the forums, parts like Ozie's come up now and again a lot cheaper
As Ben suggested,Shadows also does excellent package deals

Well it looks like an obvious choice! But ya I read about the sales all the time but not sure if I could do it being in the US. There needs to be a site like this based in the US!

IMO if you have the side skirts I would go for the spoiler first.
The airdams look good, I don't have them yet though. I'll probably wait untill I have some more $$ and get a front bodykit instead
