Ralliart bonnet

Hey guys I’ve recently put a aluminium Ralliart hood onto my 2009 lancer es ever since I’ve put it on water has been going throw the middle vent onto my coils and has gotten water into my coils is there anyway too prevent water from getting in the or is there a better coil cover I’ve ordered new coils and spark plugs just want too know if anyone has found a solution too this problem

Is the cover over the coils in place?It normally isn’t a problem.

Yeah it is in place after driving when it’s been raining it looks like the top off the cover is wet

What about the two smaller vents towards the front of the bonnet,do they have the blanking plates still fitted?

I have one on one off the vents

That’s right I think they only had one open.I don’t have an answer for you.I’ll have a look on my car tomorrow and see if I see anything obvious

Had a look at my Evo today and all I can suggest is that it’s due to the amount of rain you’ve had in Sydney.I get after on my engine in the rain but not enough to worry it.

If the car has been sitting in the rain, during start up, sometimes I hear a short squeal. I assume water dripped through the slot and the accessory belt might be wet and slipping. Probably no biggie.

I recently purchased an evo hood that didn’t come with the little plastic extension or heat shield and was wondering if anyone knows where I could get an aftermarket one. Also was wondering if the Evo coil cover (4 holes) fits the 4b11 (3 holes)? I was thinking of purchasing the clubspec carbon cover
