Chrome Grille for Platinum Lancer

Hi All, please forgive me if this has already been raised in the past but I am looking to doing some mods on my 2012 Lancer Platinum Sedan and figured Ive always liked the look of the newer lancers with the chrome around the front grille but i've been looking every where to see where I can get one I've tried ebay, other forum sites, even my local Mitsubishi dealer and said they can't help me, does anyone know who sells them so that they can put me in the right direction. It's a whole different front bumper bar.

Mitsubishi can sell it to you but it's bloody expensive.

Thanks for the reply, but I've got two questions, How much expensive if it was to purchased from Mitsubishi? How do you order the bits and pieces from the link?

Surely.

You can just black it out with plasti dip.

and then buy the chrome surround from Autobarn? Its what others have done in the past I believe

Get the chrome tape from Autobarn, its like $34 from what i remember and there is enough tape to do it a again if u stuff up the 1st time.

Hi Sean,
I went through this exercise a couple of months back and it was easier/cheaper to just sell the car and buy a later model.

Don't forget, there's a LOT of labour involved in doing the strip & refit.

I did my first Lancer with vinyl & chrome trim and was very happy with the result:
