Ralliart rear bumper

Postby whitlam » Mon Jun 15, 2009 11:09 pm

2 weeks ago I had a bit of an incident with a Hyundai on the way home from work and now need to get a new bumper (his shout) and have heard that the ralliart bumper is the same price as the normal one

The question is, is it worth getting the ralliart bumper? will the bumper impede my exhaust and will I need to modify the tip?

Think the EVO will fit without moving the Exhuast but its to far to the left for the RA one

isn't the evo one more expensive?

when I asked the panel beater he said there was the normal & ralliart for about $500 and another which was closer to $1000

yeah well you will have to way up if its cheaper to move your tip because the ralliarts outlets are towards the centre more.

it shouldn't be too hard for someone to bend the pipe a bit more to the left, it all depends on how far it needs to go

Front bars are the same price too but the trimming on the RA puts it at $800ish (from around the $500 mark)

evo rear bar is wider so guessing it wont fit without modifying and also will look crap on our lancers.. rear bar with a massive diffuser suits the evo with its widebody but not ours.. ive seen someone do it in the US, they just added the diffuser and it looked out of place =\
