Hi Guys,

I'm planning to do a couple of things now, running low on budget here.

Planning to paint the rim to a matte black, does anyone know a good place to do it in Brisbane? And how much does it cost? Possible to do a drive in, drive out as I do know have spare wheels :(

Also since I can hardly find any rear lip or so for the sportback(except for the XDC one), I'm thinking of making it black as shown. Is it possible to do it vinyl? Because I'm planning to remove it when I sell this car hence don't really want to spray it black.

Also looking for some front lips and side skirts. Really like the ARS one but doesn't seem to be getting any reply from them. And from what I heard, even though the lip from them is cheap but is going to cost quite a bit to paint and fit them. Is that true?

Does anyone have any comments on scorpion's kit? I really like one of the V Lips there but it require an air dam extension, and that's like paying for 2 front lips.

Lastly, any comment on the pic? :)

Look at my car. I have painted the rear lip black with plastidip. Can be easily removed when you sell the car. Not that most people will notice anyway. Can also be used for your rims!

Sideskirts and front air dams can be bought from our sponsor if you want the OEM look. I have the front airdams.

And the sportback really needs bigger wheels - as the fat bum makes our 16s look small.

Yea those 16s really look odd. Looking for someone to sell the VRX Rims, really like it. But no luck with it :(

Not really looking for the OEM look, but one of the front lip requires the front air dam which in total paying like 500 just for the front lip so I don't think is really worth it.

For the side skirt, I think the OEM one looks nice. Not being too over the top.

By the way, thanks for the note on Plastidip!! Would definitely give them a look!!

I think he meant rear bumper. An axleback will hide the rear muffler as they are usually smaller.

Or if you buy a diffusor kit for the rear that extends it slightly downwards then it might be enough.

My MY09 has the muffler in BLACK, so you don't see it though I have noticed from MY10 onwards its silver!!!! So its very visible.

This guy does vinyl wrapping for ClubCJ members, he wrapped his R34 matte black.
Try sending him a PM or contacting him through the Wrapture Styling Facebook page.

Pretty sure vinyling the rear has been tried and doesn't work. Its too curved. Plastidip is the way to go if you ask me.

Hi guys,

Getting the VRX/RA wheel tomorrow, but I'm thinking if I should spray it black? If yes then I will spray it then only fit it into the car.

Would really appreciate some comments

Black rims look good on Red. But gold/bronze rims look even better on red. :D
