hi bro , write an introduction post so everyone can get to know you....
i have a VRX, the lip comes standard..
but you can order the front extender's through our major sponsor x-factor design. very cheap and good quality..

with the chrome follow the line around the grill, and it sticks straight down.

yeap... go X-Factor, they're AWESOME...

or... if you have some spare cash, I may sell my bumper. spotless, and has the center part fully airbrushed, and the grill sanded down and airbrushed as well.

i'm considering a new front...

@matt: almost two years on, is the chrome trim still on your car? how is it holding up?

looks great, btw.

Looking awesome!!
Must do this for my black vrx.. shes starting to look a lil boring.
Just question - will removing the chrome remove any pain from the body in the long run?

Surely looks like a tempting mod to make. Looks good!

Just want to ask the guys out there, would you advise to have blackout vinyl at the centre on a black Lancer? Is it a must to get that effect of matt black on shiny black as a contrast? Anyone done that before and can share pictures?

Also, what size of chrome trim is good for this mod? 20mm?

I've done my blackout vinyl on my white cj, and I was thinking about doing mine in black instead of chrome.... any thoughts?

John I think you try both and judge your self.

Vinyl is cheap and easy to apply and remove.

That is why it is such a good mod. Just be careful with your selection of chrome vinyl. I bought one from Lukeday which was good and easy to apply then the one I bought from a local sign writer.

sorry Troy I meant the wheel arch moulding trim thing, not replacing my blackout vinyl with chrome... I think it would hide the minor imperfections of the backyard vinyl job :P
