boost guage

anybody know the quality/accuracy of this one, it has the size,look and readings i want?

That's what I've got on my RA Steve. Works great, looks OEM etc...
Quality is very good, installtion looked simple enough (I didn't install it myself in the end), and readings seem accurate.
Only 'fault', if I can call it that, is that at night it's a bit too bright and it reflects off the windscreen. There is no 'brightness' adjustment. For pic check out my garage, I also put a 'switched off' pic here:

Bottom line, for the price, they are definitely value for money.

yeah, looks oem hecky which is what i want, although u have the 20psi one, i want the 30.

i wonder if u can hook it up to the dimmer on the standard guages??

Actually, I've got a black pod, never used it in the end. It is opened, but all the parts are in there. If you want it ($15? plus delivery) let me know...

mounting it between the vent and the speedo/tacho bump on top of the dash similar to arutha.
what brand of black pod do u have?
and its 60mm?

So is this gauge an electronic or mechanical type? Electronic are deemed more accurate.

The one I've got has a dimmer function when I flick on my lights, but it does brighten up when boosting.

It's an Autometer pod, for 52mm gauge, product code #3204 I believe

Ah, ok. Mine is definitely for a 52mm gauge.
Anyways, never mind. Good luck with it. And like I mentioned, the Autometer SportcompII are good, but a tad too bright...
Make sure you post some pics when it's all installed...
